Dr. Ninette Banday is a globally trained Specialist Restorative Dentist and Implantologist with more than three decades of experience in clinical dentistry, dental education, and healthcare leadership. She earned her Doctor of Medical Sciences (DMSc) from Harvard School of Dental Medicine and a Master’s in Public Health from Harvard School of Public Health, followed by extensive hospital-based residency training at Brigham & Women's Hospital in Boston.
Dr. Banday has been a pioneer in advancing dental care in both hospital and ambulatory settings. She led the establishment of comprehensive dental services at Aga Khan University Hospital and was instrumental in expanding SEHA's dental network across Abu Dhabi. She has held privileges at Sheikh Khalifa Medical City for treating medically complex patients and has trained and mentored countless dental professionals, particularly UAE nationals, through internship and postgraduate education programs.
As a passionate implantologist, she founded and has led the American Academy of Implant Dentistry (AAID) MaxiCourse in the UAE since 2009—an internationally recognized program preparing clinicians for AAID and ABOI certifications.
Her clinical interests include full-mouth rehabilitation, implant-supported prosthetics, oral rehabilitation for medically compromised patients, and interdisciplinary care. Dr. Banday continues to contribute to international dental education through publications, research supervision, and speaking engagements.
Recognized for her exceptional service, Dr. Banday has received numerous awards, including the International Dentist of the Year Award by the AAID Global Committee. She remains committed to combining innovation, mentorship, and patient-centered care to raise the standards of dentistry in the region.
