Dental bonding is a cosmetic dentistry technique that utilizes a composite resin to
conceal imperfections.The resin,custom-matched to the patient’s tooth color,is
applied by the dentist in freehand manner. It’s primary purpose is to enhance the
appearance of teeth that are chipped, discolored,or shorter than
desired.Additionally, dental bonding can be employed to protect exposed tooth
roots due to receding gums, and it usually requires minimal to no tooth
preparation.
Veneers are thin porcelain coverings placed on the front teeth with uneven
surfaces,chips,discoloration,irregular shapes,spacing issue,or misalignment.They
typically require little to no anesthesia and address many of the same cosmetic
concerns as dental bonding.
