Fixed Braces(metal-crystal-self ligating)

Fixed braces are orthodontic appliances used to straighten and align teeth. That consist of brackets that are attached to each tooth and wires that connect these brackets. Fixed braces are called “fixed” because they are permanently bonded to the teeth for the duration of the orthodontic treatment.

Metal braces: Metal braces are the most common type of fixed braces.That consist of metal brackets that are attached to the teeth and connected to metal wires. Metal braces are durable and effective, and they have been used for many years to correct a wide range of orthodontic issues.

Crystal braces: These are a type of fixed braces that uses clear or tooth-colored brackets and wires. They are less noticeable than metal braces, making them a popular choice for individuals who want a more discreet orthodontic treatment.

Functional Appliances

Functional Appliances in dentistry are orthodontic devices used to correct issues with alignment and positioning of the jaws, especially in growing individuals. They are generally used to treat class ll malocclusions, where the upper jaw (maxilla) is too far forward in relation to the lower jaw(mandible).

Space Maintainers

A space maintainer is a dental appliance that is used to preserve the space in a child’s mouth after they lose a primary tooth prematurely.That prevents neighboring teeth from shifting,preserving space for permanent teeth to emerge and ensuring proper alignment.
